Cedar Park Church Block Party

On June 28th, Cedar Park Robotics (FRC Team 3663) proudly participated in the Cedar Park Church Block Party — a vibrant community celebration held in honor of the upcoming Fourth of July. Open to the entire Bothell community, the event was filled with games, food, and activities for all ages. For the first time, CPR had its own booth at the celebration, using the opportunity to showcase our team, spread awareness about FIRST Robotics, and engage with local families.

At our booth, we displayed our 2025 competition robot, giving live demonstrations as it scored PVC “coral” on a reef, impressing attendees with the precision and engineering behind our work. The interactive element brought STEM to life for many visitors and sparked great conversations about robotics, teamwork, and innovation.

For the younger guests, we brought a custom claw machine game, which quickly became a crowd favorite. As kids lined up to play, CPR team members shared more about the world of FRC and how our team operates both on and off the field.

Throughout the evening, our team connected with families, community members, and future engineers, promoting STEM education and the mission of FIRST. It was a fantastic opportunity to increase local awareness of robotics and inspire the next generation.

We are grateful to Cedar Park Church for welcoming us into this joyful event and look forward to returning in the future to continue building strong community connections through STEM outreach.
